We finally have been told that the Little Rock room is available now for the HJ Ellison Museum. Mike Matlock called me and gave me the good news. Mike has really done alot of work in procuring the room. He is so very happy that finally we will be able to start building. Spoke with on 6/4and we are making progress with a possible date for middle of June or July once the room is cleaned out.. The most likely date for us after all is done will be in Jun-August.Mike has put a lot of time on this so let us give Mike a our heartful appreciation for all he is doing.

Mike reports that he is receiving items for the museum from shipmates. I have much to send to him to be displayed in our room. We have a replica of his medals and his 1941 aviation wings to put on display. His original ones are at the Naval Museum in Pensacola, FL.

This will be a great tribute to Harold J. Ellison & Mrs. Ellison and our ship.
